In the last decades, Russian women created the image of embodying the beauty ideal, being the pride of creation and the perfect wife every man is dreaming of. Regarding their look, its definitely true: they always make it to top positions in every “Most Beautiful Women in the World”-list. The Russian beauty gene inherits through generations and if they are living in countries like Germany, many German women have to wrap up themselves. That also counts for celebrities. The following lists shows five beautiful female German celebrities, who have Russian roots.

Emilia Schüle is one of the most promising young actresses in Germany, who became famous at age 13 with the movie Freche Mädchen (= Boldy Girls). The beauty was born in Blagoveshchensk, Russia and came to Germany together with her parents when she was a child. In 2016, it became public that she separated from her (now ex-) boyfriend Jannis Niewöhner already a year ago. The two met on set of the movie Gangs in 2008 and were considered as the dreamcouple of the young generation of German actors. Both were also living in a flat in Berlin. Currently, Emilia still keeps her new boyfriend as a secret.

Bonnie Strange (aka Jana Weilert) is a model, blogger and tv-presenter. Born in Berdsk, Sowjetunion, the then two year old Bonnie moved with her family to Germany. Here, the 5’9″ tall and naturally dark-haired, attended a fashion school and started working as a model. Her major breakhrough came in 2010 when Jana Weilert started dating Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknechts, son of a famous German actor called Uwe Ochsenknecht. Jana Weilert changed her name to Bonnie Strange, started her own blog, a clothing line called The Shit Shop, married a German blogger called Jakob Haupt, founded a model-band called The Rio Girls, had her acting debut in a daily soap, got divorced and is now a tv-presenter. Bonnies fans especially love her for her crazy style, which is inspired by the 80s and 90s.

Helene Fischer

Helene Fischer (Jelena Petrowna Fischer) is born in Krasnojarsk, Russische SFSR, Sowjetunion to German-Russians and came to Germany when she was four years old. She is a pop singer, who is famous for singing mainly German songs and one of the best known German celebrities through all age groups. Helene Fischers boyfriend is folk singer Florian Silberseisen, with whom she started her tv-career in 2005. They are together since 2008.

Palina Rojinski

Palina Rojinski (Roschinskaja) was born in Leningrad, Sowjetunion. After moving to Germany, Berlin, she won the German Championship in rhythmic gymnastics twice, but gave it up at age 14 due to problems with her knees. Palina became famous as an assistant in the show MTV Home. She is also a rapper, tv-presenter and a popular tv-personality. Since 2015, she is hosting two shows: The Big Surprise – Dein schönster Albtraum (= The Big Surprise – Your most beautiful nightmare) and  Inside – Unterwegs mit Palina (= Inside – Out and About with Palina).

Stefanie Giesinger

Stefanie Giesing is the winner of the 9th season of Germany’s Next Topmodel by Heidi Klum. In 1995, her parents moved from Siberia to Germany (Kaiserslautern). The model has an illness called Kartagener syndrome. That means her organs wander through the body, which (in her case) causes severe pain in the abdomen. Stefanie Giesinger is one of the most famous German celebrities and social influencer in the age group up until 30. Since 2016, she is in a relationship with British youtuber Marcus Butler.
